Aly A's Story

Aly's squash talent shone bright in 2018, earning him the title of US Junior Open champion and Boston Globe Player of the Year. He brought his skills to the University of Pennsylvania, playing under coach Gilly Lane, and made an immediate impact on the team, receiving Freshman Athlete of the Year and Academic All-Ivy League honors.

His college achievements included 2-time First Team All-American and First Team All-Ivy League recognition, reaching the Individual College Finals, and helping the Penn Men's team reach the College Team Finals for the first time.

After graduation, Aly turned pro and quickly rose to prominence in the squash world, moving from #313 to #88 in just 6 months of his first season on the Professional Squash Circuit. Currently ranked #22 globally.

Aly holds degrees in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
