Ahmed "Vito" Shohayeb is an elite squash coach and former Director of Squash at Alexandria Sporting Club, one of the world’s premier squash institutions.
With over 15 years of experience, Shohayeb has transformed the club into a powerhouse, producing top-ranked PSA players and world junior champions.
Known for his journey with players from a young age, he has trained:
Nour El Sherbini (world no. 1, seven-time world champion)
Mohamed Zakaria (youngest-ever World Junior Champion)
Fayrouz Abulkhir (world no. 13),
Farida Mohamed (world no. 16)
Zeina Mickawy (world no. 22)
Malak Khafagy (world no. 26), among others.

Shohayeb’s coaching emphasizes technical mastery, mental resilience, and long-term player development. He has guided over 15 players to top-50 PSA world rankings and led Alexandria Sporting Club to win the most junior world titles in the past decade. His players also have an impressive 90% acceptance rate into Ivy League schools, showcasing his commitment to both athletic and academic success.
